Just Keep Swimming

After his late nap we got out of bed again. The nurse removed an IV line from his left hand as he sat in a chair. We are glad to see one more gone. Afterwards he played with toys while sitting. He wasn't that interested in them and asked to watch Nemo. He watched the whole movie sitting up in the chair. Occasionally he would entertain a toy on the table in front of him. He did not want anything to eat, probably because he still has constipation pain that is limiting him. When Nemo finished we took a bath and read some books. He said his prayers out loud and I comforted him to sleep. He slept all night! This is the first time he has slept the entire night. Only 2 awakenings that did not last very long compared to past nights. No overnight pain medicines.
The past few nights we have been working on a schedule to get his bath and dressing changes done earlier and I have thwarted off his early am chest x-rays. They now come in the morning. Seems as if he had a strong healing rest.
Just keep swimming Noah and we will make it to 7C and home for sure!

It's so wonderful to hear that Noah is finally able to get out of his bed often. I know that he is so happy about that. We pray that he continues to stay stong & move his way up to 7C. Y'all are doing so wonderful. Take Care!!
Lots of Love,
John, Tasha, Elias & Ethan

I am so excited to read things are going in a positive direction. The power of prayer is amazing. Stay strong and you will be back here in Greenville before you know it.
God Bless. Love, Mrs. Gina
