Go Speed Racer Go!

Still working on a fluid leak but passing some cars. Noah had his most playful evening with me yet. Many more smiles and laughter than in the past. He has also required much less pain medicine. He participated better with his bath, dressing change, brushing of his teeth, and evening prayer. He is moving about in bed and talking to us more. All signs that he is physically and emotionally healing. All of this increased movement also comes with more drainage. The outside health generally gives you a picture of the inside. With his playfulness starting to return, we hope this is indicative of him healing the inside.
We have constantly told him how much we loved him. How we are so proud of him. That we will not let any harm come to him. I recall repeatedly looking into his rolling glazed eyes and talking to him. Silence, delayed responses, irritability, little movement, sleepiness, and lack of playfulness were all responses. Tonite, unprovoked, Noah looked directly at me and said, "Daddy, I love you." That felt so good to hear! Now we know that those silent responses were not silent. He has heard us, and felt us, and adored us!
No matter what, we can fix a leak. We will fix a leak. The yellow flag will not be waved for long and when the green one shimmers above the track Watch Out! Noah's droppin the hammer and goosing this puppy!
