GOTTA GET DAT!!

Gotta get dat DRAIN, DRAIN, DRAIN
Gotta get dat DRAIN, DRAIN, DRAIN......TO STOP!!!
Chest output still too high to remove some lines, or get out of bed, or get out of the ICU. Today's dream crushed early. Really want to hold him and play! When is the last time you did not hold your child for 4 days. Especially when they are sick. That is when you hold them the most. I see Silvia quickly during change of guard. Isabel is not allowed in the ICU more than a minute or so. I am not able to spend much time with her. She has done immaculate, though. Monitor bleeps, alarms, nurse vital checks........Frustrations are building.
Team Howard is going to achieve some goals today! Noah had a pit stop yesterday. He is tuned up and we have a checkered flag to get today. Gonna get dat POLE, POLE, POLE!

You guys are doing great! Just remember, God's timing is always perfect and He is there with you every step of the way! Hang in there. We're here for you & are certainly praying for you each day. Now I have the Black Eyed Peas' song, "Boom Boom Pow" in my head! Not a bad thing though - it's a fun song! Look forward to more updates.
Love you guys, Julie

Noah is in our prayers. Hope that the chest tubes will come out sooner rather than later and that all of you can have some fun in the playroom together! Hang in there. Thinking of you,
