Eating outside watching boats port at the harbor. Reflections of a wonderful afternoon with Isabel. Day 2 of her birthday weekend as mommy and daddy spend the only one-on-one time we have with her in daily briefs. We saw wild hermit crabs, a pelican fishing, a helicopter and lots of boats. We even idled Folly Beach for a minute. She had time to tell Robin, Pam and Zach how to get to the pirate restaurant too. Teary eyes, back turned, with one of Noah's fat free pudding tucked under her arm; we sadly watched her walk away again. This is only getting more difficult. We were happy to give her some hospital food as she kept nibbling from Noah's plate as asking for more. She is very loving to him and wanting him to get better. This weekend we really enjoyed her Tweety Bird puppet shows to cheer him up. It instantly produced smiles.
Noah is racing forward. Everyday his health is improving. He is eating and drinking more. He is also walking more and able to play longer. His all around energy is improving. Every morning he asks me who is visiting so he can play with them. He loves having his sissy here.
We are all waiting for his chest tube drainage to decrease. It is still similar to past; although numerically lower than the past three days. We'll take it, the past few days were trending back up! Preparing for the long haul, John has requested another week off as it apparent Noah will still be in the hospital.
We are affected by many things. None of which have been strong enough to diminish our love, faith and hope. Tears dry up. The cars realign and the engines fire to once again to capture our amazement. We still have our eyes on this little racer, and he is still amazing us all.

We're glad to hear that things continue to improve for Noah. It might seem like things are not moving as fast as you'd like, but just remember, God's timing is always perfect! We are continuing to pray for you.

We're glad to hear that things are still improving! Remember that God has a plan for Noah and soon enough you'll be out the door headed home! Hopefully for good this time. We're still praying for an easy and quick recovery for Noah!(mom and dad, too!)

Glad to hear things are moving forward, & hoping the drainage will continue to decrease. We continue to pray for Noah & y'all, and hope that y'all can go home soon. I know it's hard on y'all being there. Take Care!
