"I am going to use our cheese on his breakfast this morning, I do not believe dietary sent up fat free cheese this morning," John stated to his loving wife. He then walked to the floor canteen to prepare an English muffin for Noah. "What is that sound mommy," a nervous Noah asked softly? "Gurgle, gurgle, slurp." ."Ouch!" Panting breaths coming from Noah as he is holding his left chest. Silvia says to John as he opens the door, "I think his other chest tube pulled out!" We knew this might happen as it has only been held in with tape the past few days. We have been here so long the stitches were down to a single thread. John held Noah's arms to his side as he was protecting his chest still hurting. He saw the single stitch at Noah's waist that should be tethered to his skin. Despite the reinforced tape job, It indeed was out. Ring the nurse! A quick bandage and stat chest x-ray and he is upright enjoying breakfast. Pain is all gone.
Can't wait to see what today actually brings. His body may be able to completely reabsorb the drainage and it not be problematic. Last Friday the medical team informed us that his tube could fall out by chance. They were preparing us. The Drs will observe him closely. No procedures planned yet, as they are not interested in replacing the tube unless he is not able to reabsorb the fluid and has symptoms (difficulty breathing, low oxygen, free air in lung space). We are nervous ourselves and have a new anxiety clouding our emotions. We remain optimistic and have declared this as a Holy Intervention for Today's Sabbath. Say a hopeful prayer for Noah this Sunday. His guardian angel is at work!
"I got you my habibi...I've always had you." "You know I like things exciting!" "Besides, they're taking to long"...."Just sending you home," Love Jiddo.

Hi John! We assume you are with Noah by yourself at this time,as we understood Alvarina saying that Silvia was going to come to Greenville to do some of her work, but then she was going back to Charleston on Tuesday,is that a fair assumption?we hope all would be done by now,but then again the little Angels do their work when they see it needed,so we pray the Lord give you all a bit more patience to endure all this delay a little longer then you can all relax in your own beds. Please tell Noah TiTi Alice and Uncle Charles sends him a great big Bear Hug and we continue to pray for his Get Well and awaite anxiously your return to Greenvill. Take care John and may God give you all the Strength He can mustard, with loving prayers and a hug from TiTi Alice and Uncle Charles
