Kids will be Kids

Well, today was the first time that one of the kids got something stuck up their nose. Yes, it was Noah and he put a coffee bean up his nose right before bed. I was a little nervous about it thinking a trip to the ER would be involved. Luckily, John got it out with a nose aspirator while Noah screamed and squirmed. Isabel watched over him with a worried look on her face. I hope this teaches them BOTH a lesson.

Another Noah antic...
As you might know, Noah is potty training and doing extremely well with pee-pee. He is wearing underwear during the day, even to school. He stays dry at night, but we still put a pull up on for extra measure. However, we can not get him to poop on the potty. He refuses!! After trying to coax him, we give in and put him in a pull up, which he asks for. Once he gets his pull up on, he has a little private spot to do his business. I caught him one day while doing his duty....

Here are a few pictures of the kids playing dress up. They have really been into this lately. It started with Isabel dressing Noah up in her ballerina costumes and high heels. Well, soon he started asking to be a ballerina. So being a concerned dad, John made it clear that Noah needed some boy dress up clothes. I went out and bought him some bat wings and Superman costume with a cape. He really digs the wings.


In 10 years, he will hate me for taking this picture.

The kids are having fun and are enjoying the warmer weather. Isabel is learning alot at school. She is learning to spell small words like cat, hat, man, etc. by sounding them out and also doing simple addition. She impresses us everyday. She is still very crafty. She loves to draw and do art projects, however this has backfired. She is becoming a perfectionist and if the littlest thing is not right with her creation, she has a total meltdown. We have gone through so much paper with her. By the way, we are accepting any paper donations!! Here is one of her masterpieces.


Well, that sums up what the kids have been up too. They keep us busy and frazzled constantly. But what can you say to faces like these....
