Last Friday was the last day of preschool for Isabel and Noah. This also was the last day for Isabel at Lee Rd Child Enrichment Program (she will go a few weeks during summer). It was a sad day for me because I felt like this was the last of her "childhood". She started going to Lee Rd when she was 18 months, so it was a special place for me. There are alot of memories there. It is a wonderful program and she learned ALOT there. Her K4 teacher was excellent and has prepared her for kindergarden. She can count to 100 with little help, she can read a few words, she can do simple math and spell her full name. The teacher was very in tune with what the kids needed to know before entering into kindergarden. To make the transition official, her class got to walk with "cap and shirt". Each child got a certificate with an honorable mention. Isabel's honorable mention was Miss Gentle Heart because whenever someone was sad or hurt, she would be concerned for them and try to make them feel better. The children were asked what they wanted to be when they grew up and she said she wanted to help Mommy at her shop. That made me smile. We are very proud of Isabel and all her accomplishments at Lee Road. Isabel will be going to Brushy Creek Elementary in the fall.

Although there is some sadness because Isabel is leaving, I still have memories to continue with Noah. He had a wonderful year too. His teacher was excellent as well. She really took to Noah and he felt comfortable with her. She was so loving towards him. He did great at the program. All the children got up to sing a few songs. We didn't think he would stay up on stage, but he had a great time. He sang really loud and shook his hips to the music. He had a smile on his face the whole time.
Noah is at the very bottom and Isabel is at the very top
